Frequently Asked Questions

What are the restrictions that may apply?

A. Your dog will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated; if not, then your furbaby will not be able to attend the daycare. This is for your safety and others if you are not vaccinated. This includes the following:

• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
• Distemper
• Rabies 

You can email info@friendsfurlifedaycare.com prior to arriving.

B. You will need to agree to the terms and conditions of the daycare as well. An agreement will be sent to you upon booking. You will need to reply to this agreement with “I AGREE”. Without this in place, you will not be able to attend daycare.

How will my dog get to daycare and back to the Airbnb?

Conveniently, the Airbnb is located above the daycare, and it will be your choice if you would like to bring your dog downstairs to the daycare or if you want us to come and get your dog. When we return your dog to your Airbnb, we will place him/her into the provided kennel until you return. 

Will you feed my dog during the day?

Yes! If you provide your dog’s food to us, we will feed him/her during the set feeding time.

I have two dogs. Is only one allowed?

One dog per Airbnb is included in your price, but we will offer a discount for the second dog. This can be discussed at booking.

Do you offer overnight kenneling?

No, we do not offer overnight kenneling. Our local bylaws do not allow for this. We have amazing kennels located outside of Brandon and can recommend somewhere if you request.

I do not have a dog, but want to stay at the Airbnb. Is this allowed?

Of course! You are more than welcome to book the Airbnb without a pet. However, you must acknowledge and be aware that there is a doggy daycare downstairs that runs Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and there will be barking.

I am bringing my two dogs and do not want to partake in the doggy daycare. Is this alright?

Of course! It is an offering through the daycare and is not required. If you are more comfortable leaving your dogs at the Airbnb through the day that is fine. We offer pee breaks, feeding and check-ins at no extra charge while you are out and about in the city.
